For A City 5K

Our county, Douglas County has one of the highest percentages of teen suicide in all of the United States. We are committed to not just be aware of this crisis but to also make a difference. We are partnering with the Children's Hospital to take intentional steps toward awareness and prevention.

As the Outreach Group this will be one of our main events! This is THE fundraiser for Thrive Backpacks. You can sign up to run, invite friends to run, help put flyers around town advertising the event, share the event on personal social and with social media and physical groups you belong to. We have sponsorship opportunities to raise additional dollars for the race and backpacks. Inquire with interest in sponsorship.

You can also serve at the event! We will need lots of hands. A link for volunteering will be provided as we get closer to the event.
